So far this season, I've maintained my 150's average, I presently hold the #2 spot in the HIGH game for womens leagues with a 228. And last night for the 1st time in my bowling career, I picked up the 4,7,10 split, I was SOO not thinking I was going to get it, I really wasn't trying but I saw my ball just ease into place and it picked it up. I felt my heart skip a beat.
Fall Season 07
End of Season
Me & my ball
I am finally getting use to my new ball. At 1st it was difficult b/c I had in my head that this ball was to be exactly like my "crack" ball. The crack ball had chips out of it and a crack all the way around it YET bowled wonderfully. Now this tropical storm I have finally "got" it. I can't stand where I did before and the ladies that bowl straight are amazed that my ball hooks so much. They want to know how I do it....UH its the ball. I throw and it GOES! Just as I am getting the hang of this one season is over. Thinking about doing summer league this year.
to those who read this.....HI. how's it goin?
I got my BALL
Finally I got my pink/black tropical storm. I bowled with it as soon as it was drilled. I bowled about 130. But hey I had two kids bowling with me so I was concetrating on helping them. My daughter that is 4 1/2 and was her 1st time bowling with me she bowled a spare and a strike and a 94 game..with bumpers of course but she did really GOOD. She was so happy she was bowling good. SO looks like she may follow me into bowling...I'll be a bowling mom, soccer mom, t~ball mom all in one.
Also Thursday night I skipped league. My daughter was sickly so I stayed home. Later that night found out that a lady that was on my team at the beginning of the year but later had to be replaced, she had cancer and she gave up that night. She passed away at age 64. She was a member of the International Bowling Congress and had bowling in every State Tourney for at least the last 30 years. She was a very humorous lady always had something to say. She will be sorely missed. R~I~P Judy!
